We are thrilled to welcome Comocrea to the B/SAMPLY platform! As a pivotal name in the world of textile design, Comocrea brings a legacy of creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation that perfectly aligns with our mission of connecting the textile industry in a seamless digital environment. Founded in 1990 under the aegis of the Provincial Artisans Association, Comocrea was originally established as a consortium to promote and export textile designs from the province of Como to global markets. Over the years, it has played a crucial role in preserving and enhancing the cultural and artistic heritage of the region while fostering an innovative spirit among textile designers. Comocrea represents a unique balance between art and craftsmanship, positioning itself as a key player in the textile supply chain. By supporting both digital and handcrafted design techniques, Comocrea ensures that tradition and innovation continue to coexist and thrive in the textile sector.

An International Hub for Textile Design

Comocrea is also the driving force behind the internationally renowned Comocrea Textile Design Show, held twice a year at the prestigious Villa Erba Exhibition Center in Cernobbio. Since 1990, this event has served as a vital meeting point for textile designers and industry professionals, showcasing the latest trends in fashion, women’s and men’s clothing, and interior textiles. In 1998, the event expanded with the introduction of Comocrea Interni, an annual exhibition dedicated to home furnishings. Both exhibitions hold an international qualification recognized by the Lombardy Region, attracting design studios from around the world and solidifying Comocrea’s status as a premier global platform for textile design.
