Plain-Weave is a basic weave, which utilizes a simple alternate interlacing of warp and filling yarns. In plain weave cloth, warp and weft threads cross at right angles, aligned; each weft thread goes over one warp thread crossing it, then under the next, and so on. The next weft thread goes under the warp threads that its neighbor went over, and vice versa. Any type of yarn made from any type of fiber can be manufactured into a plain weave fabric.
