Battenberg

Battenberg is a coarse form of renaissance lace either hand made or constructed by a machine. It derives from linen braid or tape and linen thread, assembled together to form various designs. It was involved both for cloths accessories or garment’s parts (such as collars, cuffs, little details etc.) but even in furniture fabrics. Is basically used as embroidery.
