Breathability

Is named breathability the movement of water or water vapor from one side of the fabric to the other, caused by capillary action, wicking, chemical, or electrostatic action. Also known as moisture transport. Is one of the parameters used to measure the wear-ability of a garment (especially in sportswear and outerwear).
